Insert or Remove SD / Memory Card

If your TCL 50 XE 5G is low on storage, use an SD card for extra space. Follow these steps to insert or remove it without losing data.

Before you begin

Don't try to insert or remove the card tray while the device is powered on because it may harm the SIM card or the device.

Steps

  1. From the left side of the device (display facing up), remove the card tray.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To insert / SD memory card: Place the SD / memory card in the card tray with the gold contacts facing down.
    • To remove / SD memory card: Lift and remove the SD / memory card.
  3. Push the card tray back into the device.
