Add / Remove Face Recognition

Connect your TCL 50 XE 5G to a visible or hidden Wi-Fi network or remove a saved one. This can help with troubleshooting or make it easier to connect to networks you use.

Before you begin

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security & privacy
    Device unlock
    Face & fingerprint unlock
    .
  3. Enter the current PIN, pattern or password.
  4. Tap
    Face unlock
    .
  5. Do one of the following:
    • For first-time setup:
      1. Tap
        Start
        .
      2. Align your face within the circle and follow on-screen prompts until the process is complete then tap
        Done
        .
      3. Review the Face unlock info then tap
        OK
        .
      4. Tap the following options to turn on or off:
        • Face unlock
        • Face on lock screen after unlocking
    • To remove face data:
      1. Tap
        Remove face data
        .
      2. Read the disclaimer then tap
        Remove
        .
