Orbic JOURNEY PRO / JOURNEY PRO Lite - Manage RTT Settings

Here's how to restore your JOURNEY PRO / JOURNEY PRO LITE to factory default settings.
Real-time text (RTT) is text transmitted instantly as it is typed or created. Recipients can immediately read the message while it is being written, without waiting or the need for an additional device.
Utilize the 5-way navigation pad on your Orbic® JOURNEY PRO / JOURNEY PRO LITE to highlight and the center button to select.

Change RTT Visibility

  1. From the main screen press the
    center button
     to select the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon.
  2. Select
    Settings
    .
  3. From the Device tab, select
    Accessibility
    .
  4. Select
    RTT
    .
  5. From the RTT screen, select
    RTT
    .
  6. Select On or Off.
  7. While On, select
    Preference
     then choose an option:
    • Visible during calls
    • Always visible - Manual
    • Always visible - Automatic

Make a Call with RTT

  1. With RTT set to Always visible - Automatic, do one of the following:
    • From the keypad:
      1. Enter a 10-digit number.
      2. Select
        RTT call
        .
    • From Contacts:
      1. Press the
        right soft key
         Right soft key to select
        Contacts
        .
      2. Highlight the contact.
      3. Press the
        right soft key
         to select
        Options
        .
      4. Select
        RTT call
        .
        If multiple numbers are stored in the contact entry, highlight the desired number then press the
        center button
         to choose
        Select
        .

End an RTT Call

  1. While on a call, press the
    End call key
     Call button.
