Orbic Trophy
Add / Remove a Wi-Fi Connection

Connect your Orbic® Trophy 5G to a visible or hidden Wi-Fi network or remove a saved one. This can help with troubleshooting or make it easier to connect to networks you use.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & internet
    Internet
    .
  3. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on then do one of the following:
    • To connect to an available Wi-Fi network:
      1. Tap the preferred network.
      2. Enter the password then tap
        Connect
        .
        If necessary, tap
        Advanced options
         to ensure any additional settings (e.g., Proxy settings, IP settings, etc.) are configured as needed.
    • To manually connect to a Wi-Fi network:
      1. Tap
        Add network
        .
      2. From the Network name (SSID) field, enter the applicable name.
      3. Tap the Security field
        Dropdown arrow icon
        .
      4. Tap the applicable security option (e.g., None, WEP, WPA/WPA2-Personal, etc.).
      5. If necessary, tap
        Advanced options
         to enable any additional settings (e.g., Proxy settings, IP settings, etc).
      6. Enter the password then tap
        Save
        .
    • To remove a Wi-Fi connection:
      1. Tap the
        Gear icon
         next to the network being removed.
      2. Tap
        Forget
        .
