Add / Remove Face Recognition

Use facial recognition on your Orbic® Trophy 5G to secure your device and personal info. If you decide to switch methods, you can delete your face data anytime.

Before you begin

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security & privacy
    Device unlock
    Face & Fingerprint Unlock
    .
  3. Enter the current PIN, pattern or password.
  4. Tap
    Face unlock
    .
  5. Tap the
    Use face unlock switch
     to turn on.
  6. Do one of the following:
    • For first-time setup:
      1. Tap
        Add face data
        .
      2. Review the info about face recognition then tap
        Continue
        .
      3. Align your face within the circle and follow the onscreen prompts until the process is complete.
      4. Select the options to turn on or off:
        • Spoof detect
        • Easier recognition
        • Eye detection
    • To remove face data:
      1. Tap
        Face Unlock Settings
        .
      2. Tap
        Clear face data
        .
      3. Read the disclaimer then tap
        Clear
        .
