Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Set up fingerprint recognition on your Orbic® Trophy 5G for fast, secure access. Remove saved fingerprints when troubleshooting or changing devices.

Before you begin

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security & privacy
    Device unlock
    Face & Fingerprint Unlock
    .
  3. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  4. Tap
    Fingerprint
     then do one of the following:
    • For first-time setup:
      1. To continue, review the info then tap
        I agree
        .
      2. From the Touch the sensor screen, locate the sensor on the power button.
      3. Follow the onscreen tutorial to scan your fingerprint then repeat as necessary until the process completes.
      4. Tap
        Add another
         or
        Done
        .
    • To add more fingerprints:
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
      2. Follow the onscreen tutorial to scan your fingerprint then repeat as necessary until the process completes.
      3. Tap
        Done
         if finished or
        Add another
         to continue adding fingerprints.
    • To remove fingerprint(s):
      1. Tap the
        Trash icon
         to the right of the fingerprint being removed.
      2. To confirm, tap
        Delete
