Recording and playing sound files on your Pixel 9 / 9 Pro / 9 Pro XL is a practical way to save important info, from meeting notes to personal reminders.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Recorder app
    .
  2. If prompted, review the info then tap
    Get Started
    .
  3. Tap the
    Record icon
    .
  4. Tap the
    Pause icon
     to pause the recording or the
    Stop icon
     to end it.
    To continue the recording after it's paused tap
    Resume
    .
  5. To change the name of the file, tap the applicable recording, tap the
    3-dot Menu
     then tap the
    Edit icon
     next to the title. Enter the new title then tap
    Save
     to confirm.
  6. To listen to a recording, tap the desired file then tap
    Play
    .
    To delete the recording, touch and hold the desired file, tap the
    3-dot Menu
     then tap
    Delete
    .
