Before you begin

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security & privacy
    Device unlock
    Screen unlock
    .
  3. Enter the PIN, pattern or password then do any of the following:
    • Tap
      Lock after screen timeout
       then select an option (e.g., Immediately, 5 seconds, 30 seconds, etc.)
    • Tap any of the following to turn on or off:
      • Make pattern visible
      • Enhanced PIN privacy
      • Power button instantly locks
