Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ 5G Kids Edition - Manage Data Usage

Here's how to change the data usage cycle and set data warnings and/or limits on your Galaxy Tab A9+ 5G Kids Edition.
  • Device data usage may differ from actual usage. For accurate info and bill cycle dates, visit My Verizon website.
  • To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Family.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Data Usage
    Mobile data usage
    .
  3. Tap the
    Settings icon
     Gear icon then do any of the following:
    • Change Data Usage Cycle:
      1. Tap
        Start billing cycle on
        .
      2. Select the cycle date then tap
        Set
        .
    • Set Mobile Data Warning:
      A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level.
      1. Tap the
        Set data warning switch
         to turn on.
      2. Tap
        Data warning
        .
      3. Enter the desired warning threshold (e.g., 2.0 GB, etc.) then tap
        Set
        .
    • Set Mobile Data Limit:
      Mobile data is turned off when the data usage reaches the limit indicated by the red line. To use apps needing data, use Wi-Fi or adjust the limit.
      1. Tap the
        Limit mobile data usage switch
         to turn on.
        If prompted, review the message then tap
        OK
        .
      2. Tap
        Data limit
        .
      3. Enter the desired level (e.g., 5.0 GB, etc.) then tap
        Set
        .
