GPS location access is needed by some apps on your Galaxy Tab A9+ 5G Kids Edition to provide turn-by-turn directions or share your location, but can be turned off to save battery life.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Location
    .
  3. Tap the
    Location switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. If preferred, tap
    Location services
     then tap any of the following switches to turn on or off:
    • Emergency Location Service
    • Google Location Accuracy
    • Google Location History
    • Google Location Sharing
  5. Tap either of the following switches to turn on or off:
    • Wi-Fi scanning
    • Bluetooth scanning
