Activate your Pixel Watch 3 to get started. This ensures you can make calls, send messages, and connect to the internet.

Before you begin

If the Pixel Watch 3 was purchased outside of Verizon, contact us to start a line of service for your device.
The Pixel Watch 3 isn't compatible with Apple® devices.
The Pixel Watch 3 can be set up via Number Share. To set up with Number Share, the companion smartphone must be activated on the same Verizon account as the watch.
If you're pairing an existing Pixel Watch 3with a new Android™ smartphone, refer to Connect to New Phone.
Install the Google Pixel Watch app on the companion Android smartphone via the Google Play™ Store.
Verify that your companion Android smartphone has a cellular or Wi-Fi connection, you're in a Verizon coverage area and your eSim activation has been processed.
Ensure the watch is charged and powered on.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Google Pixel Watch app

  2. From the Set-up your new watch screen, tap
    Continue
    .
  3. To continue, from the Terms of service screen, review then tap
    I agree
    .
  4. From the Connect your watch screen, tap
    Google Pixel Watch 3
     then if prompted, tap
    Allow
     to approve the necessary permissions.
  5. From the Starting pairing screen, ensure the passkey matches what's displayed on the Pixel Watch 3 then tap
    Pair
    .
  6. Sign in to your Google account.
  7. From the 'Copy to your watch?' screen, tap
    Copy
    or
    Cancel
    .
  8. If prompted, from the Verify it's you screen, enter your Google account password then tap
    Next
    .
  9. To continue, review the additional legal terms then tap
    I accept
    .
  10. From the Time to add your watch screen, tap
    Add watch
    .
  11. From the Welcome screen, tap
    Next
     then follow the onscreen prompts to customize your watch (e.g., watch orientation, switching bands, etc.).
  12. From the 'You're almost done!' screen, tap
    Continue
    .
  13. Set up a screen lock option for the watch (PIN or pattern) or tap
    Skip
    .
  14. From the Everyday essentials screen, tap
    Set up
    .
  15. From the Select apps screen, select desired apps, tap
    Continue
    .
  16. From the Fitbit screen, tap
    Continue
    .
  17. If your watch is activate on a cellular plan, from the Stay connected on the go screen, tap
    Set up
     or
    Not now
    .
  18. From the Fitbit Premium screen, tap
    Install Fitbit
    .
  19. To complete the setup, tap
    Done
