Manage Screen Lock Settings

Adjust settings to fine-tune security and unlocking preferences on your Galaxy Tab S10+, ensuring the right balance of convenience and protection.

Before you begin

Ensure a secure screen lock is set up (e.g., PIN, pattern, etc.).

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Lock screen
    Screen lock and biometrics
    .
  3. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  4. Do either of the following:
    • Tap
      Auto lock when screen turns off
       then select an option (e.g., 5 seconds, 1 minute, etc.).
    • Tap any of the following switches to turn on or off:
      • Make pattern visible
      • Lock instantly with Side key
      • Auto factory reset
      • Lock network and security
      • Show Lockdown option
  5. Tap the
    Back arrow icon
     to save changes and return to the previous screen.
