Apps installed on your Galaxy S24 FE may request access to certain device features. You can review and change these permissions any time to suit your needs.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Apps
    .
  3. Locate then select the appropriate app.
    1. Tap the
      Filter and sort icon
      .
    2. Tap the
      Show system apps switch
       to turn on.
  4. If available, tap
    Permissions
    .
    • To allow an app permission:
      1. From the 'Not allowed' section, tap an available permission (e.g., Contacts, Location, etc.).
      2. Tap the preferred option:
        • Allow
        • Allow only while using this app
        • Ask every time
      3. Tap the
        Back icon
         to return to App permissions.
    • To deny an app permission:
      1. From the 'Allowed' section, tap an available permission (e.g., Contacts, Location, etc.).
      2. Tap
        Don't allow
