Add / Remove a Wi-Fi Connection

Connect your Galaxy S25 / S25+ / S25 Edge / S25 Ultra to a visible or hidden Wi-Fi network or remove a saved one. This can help with troubleshooting or make it easier to connect to networks you use.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on, then do one of the following:
    • To connect to an available Wi-Fi network:
      1. Tap the preferred Wi-Fi network.
      2. Enter the password then tap
        Connect
        .
    • To manually connect to a Wi-Fi network:
      1. Tap
        Add network
        .
      2. From the Network name field, enter the applicable name.
      3. From the Security field, tap the
        Dropdown menu
        .
      4. Tap the applicable security option (i.e., None, Enhanced, WEP, etc.)
      5. From the Password field, enter the password.
      6. Tap
        View more
         then ensure additional settings (e.g., EAP method, CA certificate, etc.) are configured appropriately.
      7. Tap
        Save
        .
    • To remove a Wi-Fi connection:
      1. Tap the
        3-dot Menu
        .
      2. Navigate:
        Advanced settings
        Manage saved Wi-Fi networks
      3. Select the Wi-Fi network to remove then tap
        Forget
        .
