Certain pre-installed apps on your Galaxy S25 / S25+ / S25 Edge / S25 Ultra can't be removed. Disabling them can free up space and declutter your device, while enabling them returns functionality.

Before you begin

Disabling an app may cause related apps to malfunction.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Apps
    .
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To disable apps:
      1. Tap the preferred app.
      2. Tap
        Disable
         then tap
        Disable App
        .
        If the Disable option isn't available, tap
        Force stop
         then tap
        OK
        .
    • To enable apps:
      1. Tap the applicable app then tap
        Enable
        .
