Set Lock Screen Notifications

Choose whether messages and alerts show in full, remain private or stay silent while the screen on your Galaxy S25 / S25+ / S25 Edge / S25 Ultra is locked.

Before you begin

Lock screen notifications are only available if a screen lock is enabled.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Notifications
    Lock screen
    .
  3. Tap
    Show notifications
     to turn on or off.
  4. When on, configure any of the following:
    • Notification style (Cards, Icons, Dot)
    • Tap
      Show alerting notifications only
       to turn on or off.
