Manage Do Not Disturb Settings

Do Not Disturb (DND) silences calls and alerts, letting only urgent ones through. If your Pixel 9a isn't receiving calls or messages, check settings or disable DND.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Modes
    Do Not Disturb
    .
  3. To turn Do Not Disturb on or off, tap one of the following:
    • Turn on now
    • Turn off now
  4. With Do Not Disturb turned on, configure any of the following to edit what can interrupt Do Not Disturb:
    • People
      • Messages
      • Calls
    • Apps
      1. Tap the
        Selected apps gear icon
        .
      2. Tap the desired app or tap
        Add apps
         if the desired app isn't listed.
    • Alarms & other interruptions
      1. Tap any of the available switches (e.g., Alarms, Media sounds, Touch sounds, etc.) to turn on or off.
