Add a Virtual Private Network

Using your VPN provider or IT admin's credentials, add a VPN to your moto g - 2025 to encrypt traffic and protect your identity on public Wi-Fi.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & internet
    VPN
    .
  3. Tap the
    Add icon
    .
  4. If presented with a lock screen notification, tap
    Set Lock
    .
  5. From the Name field, enter the appropriate name.
  6. From the Type field, tap the
    dropdown menu icon
     then select the VPN type.
  7. If applicable, tap
    Show advanced options
     to configure the following (available options vary depending on the VPN type):
    • DNS search domains
    • DNS servers
    • Forwarding routes
    • Username
    • Password
  8. Enter the required info into the applicable fields then tap
    Save
