Adjust Account Sync Settings

Adjusting the sync settings on your moto g - 2025 helps manage app updates, improve performance, conserve battery and control data usage.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Passwords, passkeys & accounts
    .
  3. Tap the
    Automatically sync app data switch
     to turn on or off.
    Turning off auto sync stops accounts from automatically refreshing your data and delivering notifications.
  4. Select the applicable account or email address.
  5. Tap
    Account sync
    .
  6. Turn the sync settings on or off as applicable.
    To perform a manual sync:
    1. Tap the
      Menu icon
       .
    2. Tap
      Sync now
      .
