Adjust Brightness / Display Settings

By adjusting screen settings (e.g., Screen saver, Screen timeout, Display size and text, etc.) on your moto g - 2025, you can reduce eye strain, improve visibility and extend battery life.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Display
    then do any of the following:
    • To adjust brightness settings:
      1. Tap
        Brightness level
        .
      2. Adjust the
        slider
        as desired.
      3. Tap the
        Adaptive brightness switch
        to turn on or off.
    • To adjust display / font settings:
      1. Tap the
        Dark theme switch
        to turn on or off.
      2. Tap
        Colors
        then select an option (e.g., Natural, Saturated).
      3. Tap the
        Back arrow icon
        to return to the Display screen.
      4. Tap
        Display size and text
        then choose an option (e.g., Font size, Display size).
      5. Tap the
        Back arrow icon
        to return to the Display settings screen.
      6. Tap
        Screen timeout
        then select an option (e.g., 30 seconds, 2 minutes, etc.).
      7. Tap the
        Back arrow icon
        to return to the Display settings screen.
      8. To control what happens when the phone is docked or charging:
        1. Tap
          Screen saver
          .
        2. Tap
          Use screen saver switch
          to turn on or off.
        3. Tap a screensaver setting (e.g., Clock, Colors, Photos).
        4. Tap
          Customize
          to configure advanced settings for the selected screen saver.
      9. Tap
        When to start
        then select an option (e.g., While charging, While docked, While charging or docked).
