Switching to a new device, traveling or troubleshooting a connectivity issue? Learn how to quickly and easily insert or remove the SIM card for your moto g - 2025.

Before you begin

Don't try to insert or remove the SIM card while your moto g - 2025 is powered on.

Steps

  1. Using the provided tool, pop out the SIM card tray, located on the top-left edge of the device, then do one of the following:
    • To insert SIM card: Insert the SIM card with the gold contacts facing down, then press on the card to lock into place.
    • To remove SIM card: Once the tray is removed, lift the SIM card from the tray.
  2. Push the tray back into the device.
