Set Date and Time

Keeping the correct date and time on your moto g - 2025 ensures alarms, calendar and reminders are delivered correctly. Change if the time is incorrect.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    System
    Date & time
    .
  3. To use network-provided values, tap the following to turn on:
    • Set time automatically
    • Set automatically (under Time zone)
    • Use location
    • Use locale default
  4. When manually setting the date and time, perform the following:
    Turn off 'Set time automatically' and 'Set automatically' to manually adjust date, time and time zone.
    1. Tap
      Date
      .
    2. Adjust the date then tap
      OK
      .
    3. Tap
      Time
      .
    4. Adjust the time then tap
      OK
      .
    5. Tap
      Time zone
      .
      1. Tap
        Region
         then select the desired region.
      2. Tap
        Time zone
         then select the desired zone.
  5. If desired, tap
    Use 24-hour format
     to turn on (Use locale default must be off).
