Emergency alerts keep you updated on situations like severe weather, public safety threats, AMBER alerts, etc. Set your Galaxy A36 5G to receive only the alerts you want.

Before you begin

National alerts can't be turned off.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Notifications
    Advanced settings
    Wireless emergency alerts
    .
  3. Tap
    Allow alerts
     to turn on or off.
  4. With Allow alerts turned on, tap any of the following to turn on or off (e.g., Extreme threats, AMBER alerts, etc.).
  5. From the Alert preferences section, tap any of the following switches (e.g., Vibration, Spanish, etc.) to turn on or off.
