Clear App Cache

Clearing cached data and temporary files on your motorola edge improves performance and storage. If an app is slow or unresponsive, clearing its cache can help.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Do any of the following:
    • To clear individual app cache:
      1. Navigate:
        Apps
        See all apps
        .
      2. If necessary, tap the
        Dropdown menu
         then select
        All apps
        .
      3. Locate then select an app.
      4. Tap
        Storage & cache
        .
      5. Tap
        Clear cache
        .
    • To clear all cached data:
      1. Navigate:
        Storage
        Free up space
        .
      2. Tap the
        3-line Menu
         then tap
        Clean
        .
      3. From the Junk files tile, tap
        Clean
        .
      4. Review the info then tap
        Clear
        .
