Manage Screen Lock Settings

Adjust settings to fine-tune security and unlocking preferences on your motorola edge, ensuring the right balance of convenience and protection.

Before you begin

Ensure a secure screen lock is set up (e.g., PIN, pattern, etc.).

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security & privacy
    Device unlock
    .
  3. Tap the
    Gear icon
    .
  4. Tap any of the following to turn on or off:
    • Enhanced PIN privacy
    • Make pattern visible
    • Lock network and security
    • PIN pad scramble
    • Power button instantly locks
  5. To adjust the the time between timeout and screen lock, tap
    Lock after screen timeout
     then select an option (e.g., Immediately, 15 seconds, 1 minute, etc.).
