Add a Personal / Corporate Email AccountFollow these instructions to configure IMAP, POP3 or Exchange® account settings for an email address on your TCL TAB 8 NXTPAPER 5G that's not serviced by Gmail™.
Before you begin
If you need assistance setting up a corporate email account, contact your Exchange / IT admin.
Add a Personal Email Account
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- Tap one of the following:Check with your email provider to determine which account type to use.
- Personal (IMAP)
- Personal (POP3)
- Enter the email address then tapNext.
- Enter the password then tapNext.
- If presented, enter the applicable info (e.g., Username, SMTP server, Port, etc.) then tapNext.
- If presented, configure account options (e.g., Notify me when email arrives, Sync email for this account, etc.) as preferred then tapNext.
- Enter an account name (optional) then tapNext.
Add a Corporate Email Account
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- TapExchange.Check with your email provider to determine which account type to use.
- Enter your corporate email address and password then tapSign in.
- If setup is unsuccessful, tapManual setupand engage your Exchange / IT admin for extra support on:
- Email address
- Server address
- Domain
- Port number
- Username
- Password
- SSL
- Client certificate
- Activate device administration
- Sync options (e.g., Email, Contacts, Calendar)
