Set Date and Time

Keeping the date and time accurate on your TAB 8 NXTPAPER 5G helps ensure alarms, calendar events, and reminders work as expected. If necessary, adjust these settings when traveling or if the time appears incorrect.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    System
    Date and time
    .
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To use network-provided values, ensure Automatic date and time and Automatic time zone are on.
    • To adjust manually, turn Automatic date and time and Automatic time zone off then do the following:
      1. Tap
        Set date
        .
      2. Set the date then tap
        Done
        .
      3. Tap
        Set time
         then tap
        Done
        .
      4. Tap
        Select time zone
        .
      5. Tap
        Time zone
         then select the applicable time zone.
  4. If desired, tap
    Use 24-hour format
     to turn on or off.
