MAC Filtering

MAC filtering improves security by controlling device access to your LINKZONE GO 5G. Limiting connections helps prevent unauthorized access and keeps your network safe.

Steps

  2. From the Network Settings section, click the
    Navigation arrow
    .
  3. From the left pane, click
    Settings
     then click
    Advanced Settings
    .
  4. Click the
    MAC Filter tab
    .
  5. Do one of the following:
    • To whitelist or blacklist a device:
      1. From the MAC Filter dropdown, select one of the following:
        • Whitelist
        • Blacklist
      2. Click the
        Add Icon
        .
      3. Do one of the following:
        • Click
          Select from device list
           then choose a device listed.
        • Click
          Add manually
           then enter the Device name and MAC Address.
      4. Click
        Apply
        .
    • To delete a device:
      1. From the MAC Filter dropdown, select one of the following:
        • Whitelist
        • Blacklist
      2. From the list of devices, click the
        Trash icon
         to the right of the device to be removed.
      3. To confirm, click
        OK
