Manage Do Not Disturb Settings

Do Not Disturb (DND) silences calls and alerts, letting only urgent ones through. If your moto g - 2026 isn't receiving calls or messages, check settings or disable DND.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Modes
    Do Not Disturb
    .
  3. Tap either of the following then select the applicable options to edit the settings for what can interrupt the Do Not Disturb setting when it's turned on:
    • People
      • Messages
      • Calls
    • Apps
      1. Tap the
        Selected apps gear icon
        .
      2. Tap the desired app or tap
        Add apps
         if the desired app isn't listed.
    • Alarms & other interruptions
      Tap any of the available switches (e.g., Alarms, Media sounds, Touch sounds, etc.) to turn on or off.
  4. Tap the
    Back arrow icon
    .
  5. Do either of the following:
    • Tap
      Turn on now
      .
    • To disable immediately, tap
      Turn off now
