Turn Bluetooth On / Off

Follow these steps to turn Bluetooth® for your One Talk T42U IP desk phone on or off and make it visible to other devices for pairing.

Before you begin

The BT40 USB Bluetooth adapter must be inserted into the phone in order for these settings to be modified. The BT40 adapter is sold separately and can't be used at the same time as any other USB accessory (e.g., WF50 Wi-Fi adapter, etc.).

Steps

  1. From the idle screen, navigate:
    Menu
    Settings
    Basic
    Bluetooth
    .
  2. Use the
    left and right arrow keys
     or the
    Switch soft key
     to turn on or off then press
    Save
    .
  3. To connect a wireless headset via Bluetooth:
    1. Press
      Scan
       to search for available devices.
    2. Select the applicable Bluetooth headset then press
      Connect
      .
    3. Enter the PIN.
    4. Press
      OK
      .
