Recovering deleted contacts on your Pixel Phone saves time and prevents the loss of vital info. Restoring from trash ensures you never lose a phone number, email or address due to an accident.

Before you begin

Contacts you've sent to trash are permanently deleted from your device after 30 days. However, they can be restored to your active contact list before this time frame expires.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Contacts app

  2. Navigate:
    Organize
    Trash
     .
  3. Select the contact(s) you wish to remove from the trash.
  4. Tap the
    3-dot Menu
    .
  5. Tap
    Recover
