Place a Conference Call

The conference call function on your Verizon Voice Gateway lets you talk with multiple people at the same time so up to 6 parties can participate in the same conversation.

Before you begin

Individual participants can leave the conversation freely without disrupting the remaining connected parties.
The conference call ends automatically when the person who started the call hangs up the phone.

Steps

  1. While on an active call, press the
    Flash
     key or quickly press the
    hook switch
    .
  2. Listen for a standard dial tone then enter the 10-digit phone number of the third party.
  3. When the third party answers, press the
    Flash
     key again to merge the calls.
    A notification icon appears on the display screen indicating an ongoing conference call.
