To get the full experience from your new Galaxy Watch9, including accessing the Galaxy Store and Samsung Pay, you'll need to link your Samsung account.

Before you begin

A new Samsung account can't be created from the watch; however, you can sign in or create an account using your companion phone.
If the Samsung ID credentials can't be remembered, they can be retrieved or reset.

Sign in from the Watch

  1. From the watch screen, open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Accounts and backup
    .
  3. Tap
    Samsung account
     then follow the instructions to sign in.

Sign in from the Companion Phone

  1. From your Android™ smartphone, ensure the Galaxy Wearable app is installed and updated.
  2. From a Home screen on your companion phone, open the
    Galaxy Wearable app
    .
  3. Tap
    Watch settings
    .
  4. Tap
    Accounts and backup
    .
  5. Tap
    Samsung Account
     then follow the instructions to sign in or create an account.
