Add / Remove a Wi-Fi Connection

Connect your Pixel 11 Pro Fold to a visible or hidden Wi-Fi network or remove a saved one. This can help with troubleshooting or make it easier to connect to networks you use.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & internet
    Internet
    .
  3. Ensure the Use Wi-Fi switch is turned on.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • To connect to an available Wi-Fi network:
      1. Tap the preferred network.
      2. Enter the password then tap
        Connect
        .
    • To manually connect to a Wi-Fi network:
      1. Tap
        Add network
        .
      2. Enter the Network name.
      3. Tap the
        Security dropdown menu
        .
      4. Tap the applicable security option (e.g., None, WEP, etc.).
      5. Tap
        Advanced options
         to enable any additional settings (e.g., Proxy settings, IP settings, etc.).
      6. Enter the applicable password then tap
        Save
        .
    • To remove a Wi-Fi connection:
      1. Touch and hold the Wi-Fi network you want to remove.
      2. Tap
        Forget
        .
