Apps installed on your Pixel 11 / 11 Pro / 11 Pro XL may request access to certain device features. You can review and change these permissions any time to suit your needs.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Apps
    All apps
    .
  3. Locate then select an app.
  4. Tap
    Permissions
     then do one of the following:
    • To allow an app permission:
      1. From the 'Not allowed' section, tap an available permission (e.g., Contacts, Location, etc.).
      2. Tap the applicable Allow option (e.g., Allow only while using the app, Ask every time, etc.).
    • To deny an app permission:
      1. From the 'Allowed' section, tap an available permission (e.g., Contacts, Location, etc.).
      2. Tap
