Add / Remove Face Recognition

Use facial recognition on your razr+ 2026 to secure your device and personal info. If you decide to switch methods, you can delete your face data anytime.

Before you begin

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security & privacy
    Device unlock
    Face & Fingerprint Unlock
    .
  3. Enter the current pattern, PIN or password.
  4. Tap
    Face Unlock
     then do one of the following:
    • For first-time setup:
      1. Tap
        Set up
        .
      2. Tap any of the switches to turn on or off (e.g., Skip lock screen, Lift to unlock switch, etc.) then tap
        Next
        .
      3. Align your face within the circle and follow onscreen prompts until the process is complete.
      4. Tap
        Done
        .
    • To remove face data:
      1. Tap
        Delete face data
        .
      2. To confirm, tap
        Delete
        .
