Switching to a new device, traveling or troubleshooting a connectivity issue? Learn how to quickly and easily insert or remove the SIM card for your razr fold - 2026.

Before you begin

Don't try to insert or remove the SIM card while your 2026 razr is powered on, as it may harm the SIM card and / or the device.

Steps

  1. Using the provided tool, pop out the SIM card tray, located on the bottom-edge of the device.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To insert a SIM card, ensure the gold contacts are facing down, then press in on the card to lock it into place.
    • To remove a SIM card, with the tray removed, lift the SIM card from the tray.
  3. Push the tray back into the device.
