Manage iCloud Backup Settings

Configure iCloud® backup options on your Apple® iPad® to help protect your important data, ensuring your photos, contacts and other info are securely stored and easily recoverable.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap the
    Apple profile
     then tap
    iCloud
    .
  3. Tap the desired switch (e.g., Mail, Contacts, etc.) to turn on or off.
    If necessary, from the Saved to iCloud section, tap
    See All
    .
  4. If prompted, tap
    Delete from My iPhone
     or
    Keep on My iPhone
    .
  5. Tap the
    Back arrow
     to return to the iCloud screen.
  6. Tap
    iCloud Backup
    .
  7. Tap the
    Back Up This iPhone switch
     to turn on or off.
  8. Tap
    Back Up Now
     to immediately add or remove the data.
