To ensure proper phone functionality when abroad, you might need to adjust the International CDMA setting on your Apple® iPad®.

Before you begin

Standard Service customers
: To get specific info on using your service while traveling internationally, visit our International Trip Planner, enter your info then click
Sign in
 for a personalized solution or
Get Started
 if you don't want to sign in.
The steps only apply while traveling outside the US and may vary based on international network.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Cellular
    Cellular Data Options
    .
  3. With Voice Roaming turned on, do one of the following:
    • Tap the
      Data Roaming switch
       to turn on or off.
    • Tap the
      International CDMA switch
       to turn on or off.
