I was in contact with Verizon about wanting to return this jet pack from day 1. First my local store was rude and told me he had no way to replace with another model. Then I called Verizon and then send me a refurbished shell without the battery. It still overheats, the battery only lasts one hour, it shuts off randomly, plus other problems. I called 4 times and every Rep said they would replace it with another model but never did. Then I called 5 th time I called the rep said he was crediting my account $50 and he will replace it when I have the tax for it. By the time I was ready to call the 6th time, thinking I had a $50 credit I didn’t have the $21 for the new tax. So now I’m paying $40/ mo which should be $10/mo full price for a refurbished unit that doesn’t work and is a fire hazard. I can not wait to get this garbage paid off so I can jump ship from Verizon.

I've owned this product for three years now. When I bought it, I took the time to read the instructions and started configuring it by turning the device off, so that the internet wouldn't disconnect. I did turn off the display after 15 seconds; I changed my SSID from Verizon MiFi X Pro to something very unique, McGarrett Hawaii Five-0, and I turned off the guest access to WiFi. I updated the firmware, and it now has a range of 1,050 feet. Yes, the battery is continuously used. I'm getting 4 to 5 hours of use. The speed ranges from 350 Mbps to 460 Mbps on the 5GUW. You don't want to use this right out of the box; otherwise, you'll have disconnect issues and give it a bad rating. Spend twenty to thirty minutes reading, and have someone help you set up the device; this thing works.

This product is extremely unstable. I often cannot even get the thing to power on it just boot loops infinitely. Cannot believe verizon is selling such a broken product.

I have not yet received the item. The item was sent back, called Verizon to get another one shipped, but that cannot happen for another week because it will take that long to process. I had to be the one to reach out for everything, no one from Verizon has contacted me.

Battery life less than 6 hrs. Have had to replace battery and the wifi item twice because it just stopped working. I really dont like it but need wifi in my semi. Need to make one that can run on power without batteries for semis. Anyways once paid off I may stop the plan and just use my Hotspot. Haven't decided but need a better or longer battery life.

I had to reset this thing twice just to access the website to input this review. If you like something this expensive to work 50% of the time, please purchase this unit. If you like thinking you're losing your mind 50% of the time, please purchase this unit. If you like playing Fortnite and glitch in and out of games 50% of the time, please purchase this unit.

Excellent backup and mobile option

Easy to setup and integrate in my home while my cable internet was down for about 10 days. I wish the Verizon signal in my home was better, but the device worked flawlessly and allowed us to maintain our connectivity. Once complaint would be how many alerts (beeps) the device gives and I couldn't find a way to silence those.

Terrible, can't connect multiple devices, and constantly drops

Seems to be some false advertising here, it can't connect to 32 device, heck it can't connect to the 5 I need! Had an older jetpack that worked great til it died, this one was supposed to be a lot better. It worked fine for 3 few weeks, then started dropping everything multiple times a day. Then we started getting data usage errors and had to bump to the max plan, which wasn't an issue with the last device at all. Overall really mad and need to either swap it or do something because right now it's useless.
