I bought the Orbic speed mobile hotspot to run my cameras, it won't connect. I've used other hotspots and they hook up right away but not this one. I've looked online and will try some of the suggestions if that doesn't work I will send it back.

This is my third one. The first one died after about a year and I lost the second one. It provides me with wifi . The batteries are a weak point.

On my third Orbic jet pack in as many years. The things just quit working (and Verizon keeps sending me refurbished units instead of new ones :>( I use it for internet service and when the local Verizon tower is working right, I get 10 to 18 mbps speed with no buffering. When the tower is overloaded...speeds drop to 4 to 8 megs. What I find strange is my Samsung G23 phone gets twice the speed of the jetpack almost all the time...in exactly the same location off the same tower. Why the jetpack is slower is a continuing mystery to me...and the Verizon tech guys. If and when I get fiber optic in my rural area...good bye Orbic.

For such a small device, it works wonderfully for our Internet, including a smart TV. It took a bit to figure it out, but with unlimited data, it does what it's supposed to do. Because we are retired and home most of the time, we have it in use all day, everyday.
