I purchased this to give some punch to movie watching. It does shake the room. Very great for regular tv also. My first Bose system smart sound bar and this bass 500 a really good combo.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago to finally round out my home theater system. It is incredible!!! I’m very happy I did this. This component is not only a great product but the sound it produces is unparalleled. It is easy to make any adjustments with the Bose music app.

Got the 500 soundbar and definitely needed some bass. Paired it with this 500 subwoofer and actually sounds great with Bluetooth, not so good with the TV. Using eArc hdmi(tried optical too) and there is zero bass. Changed the settings and still can’t get the bass to sound like Bluetooth. Not so “smart” and isn’t a easy plug and play setup as you need WiFi and a smart phone. What happened to the basics simple setups things used to be...

I bought this around 6 months ago, and I just can’t believe the amount of bass coming from such a small enclosure. It can be heard throughout my entire house, and even still sounds good!

Can you use this speaker by itself without the sound bar if you don’t have it?
