These earbuds have great sound when they work. Unfortunately every couple of weeks they randomly decide they are not going to connect to my phone. And for me it always happens when I'm at the gym so end up having to do my workout without my music (I know, first world problems). It then seems like it takes an act of God to get them to pair and connect again. Not what I expect from something with the Bose name on it.

I love the sound and the comfort of these earbuds. However, I get volume surges for no apparent reason, which makes them. I've never had this issue with my Samsung or JBL products. These weren't worth the extra money for the "supposed" upgrade!

However, if your phone is set up to read text messages aloud, the audio will be transmitted to the earbuds when they are connected.
