Love the sturdiness and look of the case but came to find out it limits the functionality of the phone when closed. You can't see any display or notifications with case on. Took it to 2 different Verizon stores. The set up was correct but could not get the display to show. Took the case off and it worked! Sadly I am keeping the case on because I want to protect my phone. My first phone broke because the other case was not sturdy enough

Although the case looks nice, it does not protect the hinge from a fall. I dropped my phone - less than 3 feet - and the hinge is broken. Even with the Assurian insurance, I still had to pay $229 for a replacement phone. Do Not Buy!
OK case. I wish I'd purchased a similar one for half the cost.

I'm not a fan of the strip of silicone that pokes out of the crease when the phone is open. Otherwise it's a good, solid case.

I love this case. it is exactly what I was looking for to give my phone some added character and solid protection. fits great. looks great. doesn't affect the phone open or close smoothness. does have a hinge protector so you won't get scratches on it when closed. Just an overall beautiful case with defined quality to protect my phone.

what is the hinge protector made of? will it scratch the hinge as it opens and closes? when the phone is open, is the hinge protector hidden inside the case or does it create a bump on the back of the phone?
