I bought 2 weeks ago and really love all the cool features and how great it sounds, but WiFi signal is horrible. It constantly is telling me it can’t find WiFi signal or to reset app. Everything else I’m that rooms picks up WiFi just fine except for my google home speaker

Connection issues may be caused by several reasons such as Wi-Fi network congestion, distance of the device from the router, wireless interference with other Wi-Fi hotspots or devices nearby and outdated router firmware.
If you haven't already, we suggest restarting your Wi-Fi router. Unplug the router from the power outlet, wait at least 60 seconds before plugging it back in. If your Google Home Max is the only device that disconnects from Wi-Fi, we suggest performing a factory reset on it to make sure it's cleared then set it up.

Very simple to set up and use! Wonderful sound, very surprised!! Would gladly get another one to get more of a stereo sound! Love that I can control my thermostat and Roku tv with my speaker! Awesome product!!

Didn’t expect the quality of sound that this thing put out. Very impressed. Considering getting second one to pair to the first one I bought. The price is fairly steep, but worth it in my opinion.

I have the original Home and am very impressed with the quality and especially the sound. When I purchased the MAX speaker I was skeptical because of the price. But once I heard it I was so blown away by the bass, and the clean highs, it is Amazing. (SOUNDS LIKE LARGE POWERFUL STEREO SPEAKERS) you have to here this to believe. The total sound from all 4 speakers in this unit is state of the art, very loud and not distorted at all. Super clean. Worth every penny. You must hear it.....

Why does the Google home max need a wifi connection? Can I just rely on my 4G lte network from Verizon? Would my hotspot work with the google home max?

The Google Home Max can utilize a WiFi connection to get full use of streaming services, and online connections. However, you can also use your phone's 4G LTE network to stream music, and use an AUX cord or Bluetooth to play music as well from your cellular or portable devices. You can also use a mobile hotspot to supply a wireless connection as well. - Nicandro

The Google Home Max will not be compatible to be used with your TV. The Google Home Max allows you to play music from apps like YouTube Music, Pandora and Spotify by streaming over Wi–Fi by controlling certain devices and features required by compatible smart devices. You will be able to play, pause, skip, control the volume, and more with just your voice. Please reference “compatible devices” located on the top right corner of this page. -Sylvia
