Thanks for your feedback on our JBL Endurance Race 2 TWS. We recommend cleaning the contact pins on the case and earbuds using a cotton swab with alcohol. Charging issues are frequently caused by foreign matter on the metal charging contacts. This can include sweat, grease, ear wax, etc. Please ensure the pins are dried before placing them back on the case. If cleaning doesn't solve the problem, the next thing to check is the balance control by checking the balance control on your source device by going to the "Accessibility" settings, on your music player app, commonly found in the playback or EQ settings, and the balance control on the JBL Headphone App. Lastly, try to connect the headphones to a different device (phone/tablet/music player) to see if it fixes the problem. If the troubleshooting steps do not work, please contact our customer support.jbl.com Originally posted on jbl.com

Thank you for your feedback. Our JBL Endurance Race 2 earbuds come with three sizes of eartips and one enhancer to help you achieve a comfortable fit. Please select the size that best suits you. To achieve the best seal and secure fit, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. To do this, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal.jbl.com Originally posted on jbl.com

JBL Endurance Race 2 Waterproof True Wireless Noise Cancelling Active Sport Earbuds FAQs
Evamaria . Oct 20, 2025
The additional silicone caps that go around the earbuds are meant to be used how?
Thanks for your question. The additional silicone caps included with our JBL Endurance Race 2 are provided in different sizes to help you find the most comfortable and secure fit. You can try each size to see which one seals best in your ear, this ensures optimal sound quality, bass response, and stability during movement. Simply remove the current ear tip and replace it with another size until you find the one that fits snugly without discomfort.

Can these be used for lap swimming?
Thank you for your inquiry. Our JBL Endurance Race 2 has a top-tier IP68 rating, which means it is fully protected from damage by dust, sweat, and even submersion in water. However, they are not designed for swimming. The reason for this is a limitation of all Bluetooth technology: Bluetooth signals cannot travel reliably through water. When the earbuds are submerged, the connection to your device (like a phone) will be interrupted, and the audio will constantly cut out. So, while the earbuds won't be damaged by the water, you won't get a stable listening experience. They are perfect for intense, sweaty workouts or running in the rain, but not for use while swimming.

How long does a charge last?
The JBL Endurance Race 2 offers up to 12 hours of playback time when Bluetooth is enabled and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is turned off. However, this can vary depending on the volume level and the type of music being played. For more detailed information about its playback time, please refer to the product's quick start guide, where the technical specifications can be found on page 17.

Been working great for a couple of years but, right bud is practically dead in sending noise. It’s full charged and works occasionally but then becomes intermittent and dies. No problem charging.
