Thanks for your feedback. Our JBL Pulse 5 charging time is 4 hours, If it takes 8 hours to charge your speaker, the charger may not be powerful enough to power the unit and charge the battery. Check the adapter and make sure that the rating is 5V, at least 3A or higher. Please know the published up-to-playtime is the maximum battery time you will get when listening at background levels. As you turn up the volume, the playtime will be reduced, much like a phone battery when you brighten the screen. The same goes for source material. Music with more bass will also reduce playtime. If the battery is giving less than 60% of the published up-to-playtime, the battery may be losing its capacity. Hello, how is the speaker waterproof if there is an exposed usb-c charging port on the back?
The charging port of our JBL Pulse 5 does not come with a plug/cover for the charging port. This product is speaker IP67, which protects the product from submersion in 1 meter (3.3 feet) of water for up to 30 minutes. Please make sure to dry it up first before charging.

HOW CAN I USE 2 PULSE 5 AT SAME TIME UNDER PC NOTEBOOK? BECAUSE ITS ALWAYS 1 SPEAKER HAVE SOUND.
Thanks for your inquiry. The PartyBoost feature is not available when your JBL Pulse 5 is connected to a computer via Bluetooth. This is a technical limitation. When connected to a computer, the computer is acting as the primary device. Therefore, the JBL speaker does not have control of re-transmitting the Bluetooth signal to other JBL speakers.

what is the power rating of the speaker, I looked in the specs and it says 1x 30w woofer and 1x 10w tweeter. I don't know how the math works for power rating.

Is there an option to keep the lights on a solid color or turn them off when playing music?
Yes, there is an option to turn off the light when playing music. Press and hold the light show for 3 seconds. While for the solid color, on the JBL Portable app under the light show library for Equaliser, Wave, and Customized are single colors under the color mode.
