Since you mentioned that there is no light indicator on the right earbud, it is possible that this is a charging issue, and it is frequently caused by foreign matter on the metal charging contacts, which can include sweat, grease, earwax, and more. These issues can often be resolved by cleaning the contact points on the earbuds and the charging case. Please note that your JBL Tune Flex comes with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty. Our JBL Tune Flex's Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is optimized for general ambient sounds (e.g., commute, office) and may be less effective in very high-decibel, industrial environments. 2. The unit is IPX4 rated (splash and sweat-resistant for workouts), but heavy rain can impact performance. For any issues arising after rain exposure, including sound or touch sensor problems, a factory reset is often effective. 3. For optimal bass, first use the "Check My Best Fit" feature in the JBL Headphones App to ensure correct ear tip size and positioning. If bass issues persist, consider your audio source quality, EQ settings, or the source device. For intermittent bass, try adjusting your EQ or checking app/service settings. If bass is consistently lacking, toggle your EQ (on/off or boost), test with a different device, or perform a factory reset as a last resort. 4. Factory resetting the unit: • With both earbuds on, and not charging, tap two times and hold the button on the third tap for more than 5 seconds. Finally, place the earbuds back into the charging case to complete the process. • You may need to 'forget' the headphones in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair them again. 5. Thanks for your feedback. In order for our JBL Tune Flex to give you the best audio response, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. To achieve the best seal and secure fit, try to angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, then gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear. It is best to try this with all of the provided sealing ear tip sizes until you find the one that accomplishes this most easily. I am not able to connect my JBL tune flex earbuds to my Apple Watch. jBL does not appear in the list when I activate Bluetooth in Apple Watch
We're here to help. Please make sure that there's no other source device connected to your JBL Tune Flex and that it is in pairing mode by checking if its light is flashing blue. If it still doesn't show, we recommend doing a factory reset. To do this, with both earbuds on, and not charging, tap two times and hold the button on the third tap for more than 5 seconds. It's necessary to forget the name of the earbuds from the previously connected device before connecting again. If the issue persists, please contact our customer support.

Each earbud on our JBL Tune Flex can have unique advanced controls, such as playback, volume, ambient sound, and voice-assistant control. You can assign them to your preferred earbud via the JBL Headphones App under the "Gesture" tab. Choose the right earbud, tap the drop-down button under swipe forward/backward, and choose Vol+/-. The swiping action should be fast, like flicking something, so that the sensor will detect the gesture properly.

I can't pair my JBL flex tune with my macbook air
We're here to help. If you are having trouble pairing your JBL Tune Flex or if your device is asking for a PIN, please make sure to check all available BT connections in your device's settings. Verify that you are connecting to the headphone's product name that excludes 'LE'. The 'LE' connection is only intended for a voice assistant feature compatible with your headphones. If the voice assistant feature has not yet been configured, this would explain why the 'LE' connection appears as an available connection, but cannot be used for Bluetooth audio. Please contact our customer support for further assistance.

Do they have in-ear detection? And how are they controlled, ie. can you double tap both earbuds to pause or only right before left etc
Thanks for your question. Our JBL Tune Flex doesn't have an ear detection feature. The audio or music will continue to play when you take the earbuds out of your ear. By default, the right earbud has the button control to play/pause the music, while the left earbud's button lets you switch between ANC, Ambient Aware, and TalkThru. Each earbud can have unique advanced controls, such as playback, volume, ambient sound, and voice-assistant control. You can assign them to your preferred earbud via the JBL Headphones App under the "Gesture" tab.

tune flex app for windows?
Thanks for reaching out. Our JBL Tune Flex is currently supported with our JBL Headphones App, which is only available for mobile devices via Google Play Store and Apple App Store. While it doesn't have any application for PC, you may download any third-party application to adjust the EQ settings of the earbuds.

Can the tune flex open buds be warn upside to avoid ear rings?
Thanks for your inquiry, Using the Tune Flex earbuds upside down is feasible, however, we advise against it as doing so can potentially compromise its sound performance.

Can you turn off noise-cancelling entirely?
Yes, you have the option to turn off the noise cancellation on the JBL Headphones app by switching off the sound control. If you wish to turn it back on, simply tap once on the earbuds. Please note that once the sound control is turned off on the app, Talkthru, and Ambient will also be turned off since they are currently under the sound control bar.
