The sound quality is spot on and beautifully balanced. The aesthetics are also beautiful - classic, and the functionality is wonderfully simple and unfussy. The Bluetooth connection is spot on, though being old school, I love having the Aux option. I bought the Acton III to replace an overly complicated setup that I became tired of managing and am extremely happy with my purchase. This thing does just what I want it to do - it plays music when I want it to and that's it. I've already recommended the Acton III to other people. Simon

This speaker far exceeded my expectations. I’ve bought so many cheaper speakers (including Apple HomePod Mini) and none of them were up to par for my one-bedroom apartment. This speaker fills my space with crisp, clear, and full sound. I am no speaker specialist but the quality of sound that comes out is remarkable. Not only that, but the build quality of this thing is phenomenal. It has a great weight to it, the vegan leather has a unique but satisfying feel to it, and the controls are so well made that I find myself fidgeting with them just because. While the price may seem steep, I can 100% recommend this speaker.

You can select either ambient or stereo mode. Ambient mode: Two speakers play the same audio synchronised. Each speaker plays both the left and right channels. Choose this mode if your speakers are placed at different heights, directions or areas of the room. -Joe
