Protective but falls short.

In my opinion, the case is protective but the blending of Lifeproof and OtterBox features were not well thought out. OtterBox just did what it needed to do to lower cost. They removed some protective elements of the Lifeproof case and kept some elements of the OtterBox thereby lowering the quality of both designs. Now you need to purchase an additional screen protector. Also, the rubber charging port cover is not very convenient. You might as well remove it since there are already two large openings to the left and right of the charging port. Additionally, the installation and removal of the case is inconvenient. The outer rubber has to be completely removed and plastic shell split apart. The plastic carrying holster is very bulky and more like an unnecessary afterthought. My conclusion is that the case is protective but lacks screen protection and the design features were not well thought out.

The cut out was a bad design. I know that they say that it won’t affect the safety of the phone but it still feels weird to have a cutout on the edge. I also wish the case was a little thicker and heavier. I also wished that they kept the belt clip with the case, some people don’t use it but some people do use it and don’t want to wait for it to come in after the case since you can get a free one.
